- Do you walk into an audition confident you’re going to nail it. Or do you walk in convinced you’re not right for the part?
- Do you finish each week thankful for every opportunity you had? Or do you finish each week feeling like a failure and focusing on every opportunity you didn’t get?
- Do you know your value and charge for your services accordingly? Or do you doubt yourself, your skill, your ability and undercut rates every time?
- Do you begin each day hopeful and excited for all the possibilities? Or do you dread the work, effort and possible disappointments that await?
The Common Thread
A negative attitude.
That’s not to say they’ve always been that way. It’s certainly not to say there’s no hope. We all have bad days. Bad weeks. Dry spells. Nobody is ever happy and positive all the time. That said, when a negative attitude becomes your norm, it will absolutely infect and therein effect your work.
Just to be clear, this doesn’t mean that you can simply sit around thinking happy thoughts all day and success and abundance are going to come to you. You’re still going to have to do the work. You’re still going to have to improve yourself daily.
The Difference Maker For Your Voice Over Success
When you feel good about yourself, when you have a positive outlook, your confidence can’t help but increase. When your confidence increases, that’s going to take hold and impact everything you do. Be it business, personal or otherwise.
I start every day giving thanks and I end every night doing the same. I’ve found this to be a great set up to maintain a positive outlook and for more easily recognizing opportunities when they present themselves.
