What Are You Afraid Of?

Fear of Rejection?

Fear of Failure?

Fear of Finances?

Fear of Embarrassment?

What If Don’t…

If you’re a voice actor, I’m going to go ahead and assume that at some point in your career you’ve asked yourself one or all of these questions. Some, perhaps more than others.

What if I dont book the gig?

What if I screw up the audition?

What if I don’t make enough money?

What if I make a fool of myself?

What if the producer doesn’t like me?

What if the client isn’t happy?

What if my equipment isn’t good enough?

What if my talent doesn’t measure up?

What If Do?

All too often we allow our fears to control us. We’re so busy thinking about all the things that could go wrong, that we often forget to think about the things that could go right!

With that in mind, let me ask you a few different questions…

What if  you DO book the gig?

What if you NAIL the audition?

What if you DO make enough money?

What if you WOW them?

What if the producer LOVES you?

What if the client IS happy?

What if your equipment IS good enough?

What if your talent DOES measure up?

 The Right Question

Sometimes the difference between failure and success is something as simple as the questions we ask ourselves before we try!

QUESTION: Do you general think positive or do you generally expect the worst?
