Up to this point in my Saturday Morning Cartoon series I’ve focussed on some of the original and legendary voice actors that have brought cartoon characters to life for decades. I think it’s fun to see their faces. I also think it’s amazing how just a few talents were responsible for so many of the characters that shaped our childhoods.
This week I’m moving in a bit of a different direction.
Who carries on those voices when the original talents can no longer do them? When they retire? When they pass on? How do we still keep the characters alive?
That’s where a guy like Scott Innes comes into play.
Scott picked up where Don Messick left off. He kept Scooby Doo alive on our TV’s. You can find out more about him here.
