I have to be honest, I don’t typically think of Winnie The Pooh and Darkwing Duck at the same time. I don’t know about you, but when it comes to cartoon characters I’d be placing them on entirely opposite ends of the spectrum.
One cute and cuddly stuffed bear and one super hero terror that flaps in the night. They couldn’t possibly have anything in common.
Or could they?
Jim Cummings has done it all. He designed Mardi Gras floats. He worked as a river boat deckhand. He sang and played drums in a band called “FUSION.” He also voiced one of my favourite cartoons ever.
Darkwing Duck
Jim Cummings’ list of credits is long and diverse. Cummings was the only original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles voice actor to return for the 2007 film. He was the voice of Tigger. He also voiced characters for many of the hit Disney cartoons including Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, and Goof Troop.
